Selected work

One project, shown properly.

We would rather describe a single engagement in detail than list logos. Below is Zaynora — a consumer platform Paycon designed, built and runs: a mobile app, the web surfaces around it, the cloud it sits on, and the day-to-day operation of all three.

Zaynora

An AI-led baby photography and family memory platform.

The project

Zaynora gives new parents one place for the first years of a child's life. Parents book a professional photoshoot, and the photographs come back into a private family vault rather than a shared drive. From there the product does the work most galleries leave to the parent: grouping and curating what is worth keeping, assembling albums and storybooks, and turning a selection into a printed keepsake that is ordered, produced and delivered.

Around that sit the things a real consumer product needs and a prototype never has: co-parent and view-only family access so grandparents can see updates without editing, phone-based sign-in with multi-factor, a catalogue and cart, payments, order tracking, support conversations, and the consent and privacy controls that handling photographs of children demands.

What Paycon delivered

The whole thing, across every surface — product design, the application itself, the cloud it runs on, and the delivery and operations work that keeps it running. Paycon was not brought in for one layer of this; the platform was taken from a product vision document through to a running system.

Surfaces built

  • Parent mobile app iOS and Android from one React Native codebase — booking, the memory vault, album building, cart, orders and support.
  • Photographer web The tooling photographers use to accept and fulfil assignments.
  • Back office Catalogue, orders, content and staff workflows for the operations team.
  • Album studio A purpose-built photobook editor, replacing a third-party tool, with one geometry model shared by the screen and the press so the two cannot drift.

Beyond the build

  • Cloud Infrastructure declared as code and reproducible, on AWS.
  • Delivery Automated pipelines and environment promotion rather than manual releases.
  • Operations Logging, metrics and alerting, with the runbooks to go with them.
  • Governance Consent capture, privacy controls and an audit trail, because the subject matter is children's photographs.

At a glance

Scope of the engagement.

A single team carrying product design, application engineering, cloud and operations — which is the shape of engagement Paycon is built for.

Why it is here

What this project demonstrates.

Zaynora is the clearest answer we can give to "can you actually do this?" — because every capability listed elsewhere on this site had to hold up in it.

Scope held together

A mobile app, three web surfaces, payments and physical fulfilment are four different problems. Keeping them coherent is the work.

Physical output

Software that ends in a printed, posted object cannot be approximately correct. Colour, geometry and dimensions have to survive the press.

Sensitive data

Photographs of children force consent, access control and auditability to be designed in rather than retrofitted.

Two-sided operation

Parents, photographers and back-office staff each need a different view of the same booking, with permissions that hold.

Built to be run

Reproducible infrastructure, automated delivery and real alerting — the difference between a demo and something that can be operated.

Owned, not assembled

Where a third-party tool did not fit, as with the photobook editor, it was replaced with one that did.
