Paycon is a product engineering company. We build and operate our own platform, and we build applications for engineering teams who need something specific done well. The second kind of work keeps us honest about the first.
What Paycon is
Paycon designs, builds and operates software. Our own product is the Paycon Ticketing Platform — a multi-tenant, white-labelled support operations platform that operators run under their own brand for their own customers. The platform is built by Paycon and owned by Paycon; operators are tenants on it, not forks of it.
Alongside that, we work directly with customers on their engineering applications: the internal platform, the portal, the integration layer, the service that the business depends on and that nobody has had the time to build properly. We take those from discovery through to something running in production with a pipeline, dashboards and a runbook behind it.
Engineering and delivery are based in India. We deploy primarily into AWS
ap-south-1, which keeps data in-country for Indian customers who need that.
How we think about the work
Most of what makes software usable five years later is decided in unglamorous places: the data model, the deployment story, whether an alert points at a cause. We try to spend our attention there.

Who you will be dealing with
Paycon is deliberately small and engineering-led. The person who scopes your work is an engineer, and they stay involved while it is built — there is no handoff from a sales conversation to a delivery team you have not met.
